This Privacy Policy explains how Dubrovnik Boat Excursion ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit this website or book one of our boat tours. Last updated: 11 June 2026.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Booking data: your name, email, phone (optional), tour date, number of guests, and payment status. We store these in our database to fulfil your booking.
- Payment data: we do not see or store card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, who keep card data on their secure infrastructure. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded plus the Stripe reference IDs.
- Contact form messages: the name, email and message you submit via the contact form.
- Technical data: we use a minimal first-party PHP session cookie to keep the site working. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.
3. Why we use it
- To confirm and manage your booking (contract performance under GDPR Art. 6 §1 b).
- To send you the booking confirmation email and any necessary updates about your trip.
- To respond to your contact-form questions.
- To meet our legal obligations (tax records, etc., under GDPR Art. 6 §1 c).
4. Who we share it with
- Stripe (payment processor) — see stripe.com/privacy.
- Our email/SMTP provider — to deliver booking and confirmation emails.
- Our web host — where the website and database run.
- We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with marketing networks.
5. How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as required by Croatian tax/accounting law (typically 11 years after the end of the tax year). Contact-form messages are kept for up to 2 years. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@dubrovnikboatexcursion.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
7. Cookies
This site uses a small number of first-party cookies necessary to keep the site working (session, security, your cookie-banner choice). It does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies by default. See our cookie banner for more information.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of the page. For substantial changes we'll mention them on the homepage.
