These terms govern bookings and tours operated by Dubrovnik Boat Excursion. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. Last updated: 11 June 2026.
1. Booking & payment
- A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email from us.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe in EUR. We accept major debit and credit cards.
- Prices include VAT where applicable and cover the items listed under "What's included" on the tour page.
2. Cancellations & refunds
- By you: full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- By us — bad weather: the skipper has the final say on safety. If we cancel a tour for weather, sea conditions, or any safety reason, you may choose to reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
- No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
3. Capacity & group bookings
Each tour has a maximum capacity (shown on the tour page). For private or group bookings beyond the standard capacity, please contact us for a custom quote.
4. Children & safety
- Children are welcome — please tell us at booking if you're bringing infants so we can prepare appropriately sized life jackets.
- Life jackets are provided for every guest. Guests are required to follow safety instructions given by the skipper.
- We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any guest who, in the skipper's reasonable judgement, is unfit to travel (e.g. due to intoxication) — no refund is due in such cases.
- Pregnant guests, guests with back/heart conditions, or with reduced mobility should consult us before booking the Caves tour, which can involve sudden movement on a speedboat.
5. What to bring
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat. A light jacket for the Sunset tour. You can leave bags on board during swim stops, but please don't bring valuables you can't afford to lose.
6. Liability
We hold appropriate Croatian boating licences and insurance for guests on board. Beyond this statutory cover, our liability is limited to the price paid for the tour. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. missed connections), and we recommend you have your own travel insurance.
7. Photos & videos on tour
Our crew may take photos or short videos during the tour for our own social-media and marketing use. If you'd prefer not to appear in our photos, just tell the skipper at check-in.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dubrovnik.
